15 Injured as Plane Overturns at Canada Airport

A Delta Airlines plane carrying 80 passengers overturned during landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport, injuring 15 people, according to British media BBC.

On Monday, February 18, airport officials reported that three of the injured passengers are in critical condition.

Earlier, BBC reported that the Delta Airlines flight crashed while attempting to land at Pearson International Airport. The plane was coming from Minneapolis, and airport authorities were informed of the incident. All passengers and crew have been rescued, and emergency rescue teams are working at the scene.

Before the crash, there was heavy snowfall, but the exact cause of the accident has not yet been determined. However, Pearson Airport authorities stated that they have not yet established the cause of the accident. Many flights had been delayed due to the winter weather conditions.

Canada’s Transport Minister Anita Anand said she is closely monitoring the serious incident.
