2 People Died Due to Storm in Bogra, Bangladesh
The storm claimed the lives of two people in the Bogra Thana of Gabtali and Sariakandi.
At roughly five o’clock on Saturday, the accident occurred.
The deceased include Shamim Ahmed (17) of Bangabari village in Saghata Thana of Gaibandha and Waheda Begum (55) of Hindukandi village in Sariakandi upazila of Bogra. Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jamidul Islam of the Sariakandi Police Station stated, “He was seriously injured when a tree branch fell on his head when the storm started.” Upon his arrival at the Thana Health Complex with his family, the attending physician pronounced him deceased.
The commuter train passenger was waiting for another train in a shop close to the station, according to Abdul Matin, the station master of the Sukhanpukur railway station in Bogra, who was called. At that moment, a storm unexpectedly broke out. A tree branch fell on the passenger’s head as he was walking from the shop to the station. After being saved by locals, he was taken to the Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital, where the attending physician pronounced him dead.
