216 Weapons Recovered, 92 Arrested in 21 Days of Joint Operation in Bangladesh
In the previous 21 days, 216 guns have been seized and 92 persons have been arrested nationwide as part of the joint forces’ continuous effort to retrieve illegal weapons.
This information was provided by the Ministry of Home Affairs in a press release.
Since September 4, the combined forces of the Armed Forces, Police, BGB, Coast Guard, and RAB have been engaged in operations.
Eleven revolvers, sixty-two pistols, thirteen rifles, twenty-eight shotguns, six pipe guns, twenty-three shotguns, twenty-one LG, thirty-one guns, one AK-47, two gas guns, one Chinese rifle, four air guns, two tear gas launchers, five SMGs, five SBBLs, and two three-quarters were found, according to the Ministry through the sources of Police Headquarters.
