28 Intern Doctors Suspended in Mymensingh, Bangladesh
Due to their suspected involvement in a number of illegal acts while living in the college’s dorms, the administration of Mymensingh Medical College (MMC) has suspended 28 intern physicians.
Investigating the claims is a seven-person team led by Vice-Principal Prof. Jimma Hossain. The committee has been given five working days to turn in its findings.
The suspension order was announced yesterday during an urgent academic council meeting of the institution, which was convened at MMC and attended by Principal Prof. Md. Nazmul Alam Khan.
Anupum Saha, the former president of the BCL unit of the MMC unit, secretary Abdullah Al Hasan, Masfiq Anwar, Mehdi Hasan Shimul, Anupum Dutta Argha, Mahidul Haque Ayan, Jahidul Islam Tushar, Monjurul Haque Razib, Rakibul Hasan Rukon, Alamgir Hossain, Ashik Uddin, Shipon Hasan, Syed Raihan Al Ashraf, Raihan Fagun, Aurnob Saha, Kams Arefin, Asif Raihan, Diganta Sarker, Kuber Chakraborty, Siam Jawad Pushan, Saiful Islam, Muntasur Ratul, Sanjit Ahmed, Shahrier Iftekhar Soumik, Ashik Mahmud Riad, Asif Iqbal, and Meraj Hossain Bandhan are among the suspended intern doctors.
