70-Years-Old Woman was Gang-Raped in Bangladesh
Regarding the gang rape of a 70-years-old lady at Chobir Hat in Suhrawardy Udyan on Saturday night, police have not yet made any arrests.
She was raped by a gang of middle-aged people, according to one of the merchants who came to her help. They’d also subjected her to physical torment. He claimed that she had wounds on both hands.
Regarding the event, a complaint has been made to Shahbagh Police Station.
“I called the police when I noticed her seriously injured on Sunday morning. The photographer Polash Shikder stated, “We then sent her to DMC.”
According to DMCH authorities, the patient is still receiving care at the hospital. According to the police, the victim used to beg on the streets to make ends meet.
The official in charge of Shahbagh Police Station, AKM Shahabuddin Shahin, stated, “We are attempting to apprehend the offenders. I hope we can take them into custody.” He stated that the woman’s relatives could not be contacted by police because she was unsure of her precise home location.
