Palak remanded for 6 days in the third phase

The court has remanded the former Minister of State for Telecommunication and Information Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak to a total of 6 days for three days in two separate murder cases. Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Moinul Islam’s court gave this order on Sunday (September 1) morning.

Earlier, Junaid Ahmed Palak was arrested in Badda police station Sumon Sikdar, Sutrapur police station Ikram Hossain Kawsar and Omar Farooq murder case and remanded for seven days.

On August 14, former state minister Junaid Ahmed Palak was arrested while hiding from Nikunj residential area of ​​Khilkhet police station in the capital. The next day, the court granted a 10-day remand to a rickshaw driver named Kamal Mia in the Paltan murder case.

At that time, the state side and pro-BNP lawyer Anwarul Islam held a hearing in favor of granting remand. Lawyer Morshed Hossain Shaheen applied for bail on behalf of the accused. After the hearing, the court ordered remand.
