Recently China Want to Invest in Solar Panel Plant in Bangladesh
China hopes to strengthen commercial and economic relations with Dhaka by investing in solar energy in Bangladesh.
The statement was made yesterday at the UN headquarters in New York during a meeting between Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus.
Wang Yi stated that China would give Yunus’s request that Chinese solar panel producers establish factories in Bangladesh consideration. When the Chinese ambassador to Dhaka paid him a courtesy visit last month, the chief adviser took the call.
He added, “A team of doctors from the Chinese Red Cross has been dispatched to treat the students and individuals who suffered severe injuries during the mass uprising in July and August.”
He claimed that because Bangladesh has preferential market access to many wealthy countries, Chinese solar enterprises should invest more heavily in Bangladesh. In addition, he made calls for more Chinese producers to move their factories to Bangladesh.
The main advisor placed a strong emphasis on forging “a new chapter” in bilateral relations and strengthening ties with China.
