Trump’s Secretary of Agriculture is Brooke Rollins

President-elect Donald Trump has nominated Brooke Rollins as his Secretary of Agriculture for his upcoming administration. Rollins, a longtime ally of Trump, is the current president and CEO of the America First Policy Institute and previously served as director of the Office of American Innovation and acting director of the Domestic Policy Council during Trump’s first term.

Trump highlighted Rollins’ agricultural roots, noting her upbringing in Glen Rose, Texas, and her family’s multi-generational farming background. Rollins has also been actively involved in organizations like 4-H and Future Farmers of America.

With degrees in Agricultural Development and Law, she is expected to bring both practical and policy expertise to the Department of Agriculture.
If confirmed, Rollins will oversee a vast agency tasked with managing farming policies, rural development, nutrition programs, and food safety, along with a $437 billion budget. This nomination underscores Trump’s focus on strengthening support for American farmers and rural communities.
