Saudi Arabia to Distribute 1.2 million Copies of the Quran
Saudi Arabia is set to distribute 1.2 million copies of the Quran to promote the peaceful and spiritual teachings of Islam across the globe. In a groundbreaking move approved by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, this initiative aims to foster religious and cultural awareness among Muslims worldwide.
The Quran will be distributed in 79 languages, ensuring it reaches diverse communities, Islamic cultural centers, and Saudi embassies in numerous countries. This massive distribution effort is part of the Crown Prince’s ‘Quran Gift Program,’ designed to enhance the understanding of Islam and its teachings among Muslims around the world.
Abdulatif Al-Asheikh, Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, expressed his deep gratitude to Prince Salman for his continuous commitment to Muslims worldwide. Al-Asheikh emphasized that the Qurans, printed on the highest quality paper, would be particularly beneficial to Muslims during the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.
The Saudi Press Agency reported that the first phase of the distribution process has already been completed, with the Qurans sent to 45 countries. Efforts are in place to ensure all copies are delivered before the start of Ramadan, with precise coordination to guarantee timely arrival.
This initiative reflects Saudi Arabia’s ongoing dedication to sharing its religious heritage and cultural values with the Muslim world. As millions of Muslims prepare for Ramadan, this generous gesture will deepen their connection with the teachings of Islam and enrich their spiritual journey during the sacred month.
