The intense cold returns this weekend in the City and Greater Buenos Aires
The severe cold that hit the City of Buenos Aires at the beginning of winter has somewhat subsided in recent days, and this will cease by the first weekend in July. Over the next several days, the City of Buenos Aires and the Buenos Aires suburbs will see a return of the chilly weather.
The temperature has stayed low in recent days due to the adverse weather conditions created by the polar wave in several regions of the nation. The weekend high in CABA is expected to be about 16°C, while the lows will be between 6 and 8°C.
The National Meteorological Service is calling for extremely chilly days, although this Friday is the only day where isolated showers are expected in the afternoon and evening. The days will thereafter continue to be chilly and gloomy, with gray skies ahead.
The National Meteorological Service verified that there won’t be much variation in the weather following a few fall days with low temperatures. A low of 7°C and a high of 16°C are predicted for Saturday, along with partly cloudy skies in the early morning. But as the hours pass, the sky will clear and there will be sporadic wind gusts. They will really be traveling between 13 and 22 km/h.
