Actress Shabnur returns to the cinema
Shabnur was one of the leading actresses of the 1990s, She has been living in Australia for the past decade. She used to make six-month visits to the country.
However, she has not visited Dhaka in the recent three years. This well-known actress has never spent so much time away from her home country.
Though she was eager to return to the country and she was unable to manage her schedule previously. She has finally returned.
Shabnur stated that she did not want to inform anyone other than her family and close friends about her visit to Dhaka at this time. She has a lot of work to do since returning home after three years away. In reality, she’s been doing all of this secretly in the meantime.
She is in discussions about making new films and listening to plots. Almost every day, new stories are fine-tuned at the office of a production agency in Banani as she meets with directors.
Shabnur began working in the film industry at the age of 14. She worked in film for about a decade and a half. She then began acting irregularly. ‘Pagol Manush’ was her last film.
After then, she was in the headlines multiple times purportedly for signing new films but nothing was finalized. Shabnur came to Dhaka this time to resolve some family concerns.
She stated on Friday, “Since I haven’t been in the nation in a long time, a lot of work has piled up. There were numerous errands. I was silently completing them. I did not inform anyone about my visit.”
Though Shabnur would not admit it multiple sources have stated that the actress will return to the big screen on either of the two Eids next year. She is set to appear alongside Mahfuz Ahmed in a film directed by Chayanika Chowdhury. The trio is in talks about the movie.
Shabnur didn’t think much about fitness because she hadn’t been in any films in a long time. Her entire business had been oriented around her family and son. She was unable to pay attention to herself.
However, when there was a heated dispute about her return. Shabnur also considered her fitness. It would take her several months to get in shape.
However, she has been discussing the plot and the character. She has also met with director Chayanika Chowdhury on multiple occasions. Shabnur is also attempting to restore her fitness.
She answered, “Yes, we have been debating the story among ourselves. I also liked the narrative and the characters. But I won’t return until I’m fully fit. There is no other way. It is important to remember that the comeback news should be about a real comeback.”
Shabnur stated Everyone still loves me so much, and I realize this every year on this day. As soon as the clock strikes twelve the inbox fills up with SMS messages. Many individuals call on the phone while others post such lovely remarks on facebook and I am astounded to witness my coworkers. Nobody makes me feel as if I’ve been away from the industry for so long.
