Anisul Haque and Salman F Rahman on Remand For Five More Days in Bangladesh

The court remanded Salman F Rahman and former law minister Anisul Haque for five days. The court granted remand for their interrogation.

Salman F Rahman and Anisul Haque were arrested from Dhaka Sadarghat area on August 13.   It is known that they were trying to escape in a boat.

This case has been filed in connection with the killing of Suman Shikder during the anti-discrimination student movement in Dhaka’s Badda.

At seven o’clock in the morning on Thursday, they were produced in the court today and when the police asked for a further ten-day remand, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Nurul Huda Chowdhury granted a five-day remand.
