Arnold Schwarzenegger posts photos days after pacemaker surgery.

Arnold Schwarzenegger has released a selfie of himself, days after admitting he had a pacemaker implanted and confirming he will be “ready” to begin filming next month.

He thanked followers for their support throughout his rehabilitation, saying in an Instagram post on Thursday that he has gotten so many kind messages from all over the world.

The 76 years old Schwarzenegger went on to say that the pacemaker won’t affect the second season of the Netflix comedy Fubar which is scheduled to start filming in April.

The “Terminator” star and former California governor said on Monday’s edition of his podcast “Arnold’s Pump Club” that he underwent surgery for a pacemaker and became a little bit more of a machine.

Schwarzenegger was born with a bicuspid aortic valve and a congenital heart abnormality and has undergone several heart surgery.

In 1997, he had a pulmonic valve replacement, which improves blood flow from the heart to the lungs.

The aged pulmonic valve that had been implanted was then replaced during an open heart surgery in 2018.

Two years later, he underwent surgery to replace his aortic valve, which directs blood flow from the heart to the rest of the body.

Schwarzenegger stated on the podcast that physicians recommended he have the pacemaker “because some scar tissue from my previous surgery had made my heartbeat irregular” for several years.

He also stated that he must have frequent check-ups, which is part of life with a genetic heart condition but you will not hear me moan.

Schwarzenegger claimed his rehabilitation has gone well but he won’t be able to perform any significant workouts in the gym for sometimes.
