Artist Mustafa Monwar, known as the ‘puppet man’ of Bangladesh, is on life support. He is currently admitted to a private hospital in the capital.
According to family sources, he has been suffering from various physical problems for a long time. Suffered from pneumonia and prostate cancer.
According to related sources, Mustafa Monwar went to Delhi, India for treatment a few days ago. After being treated for prostate cancer from there, he returned home and was healthy. Recently, he fell head over heels at home and was admitted to Square Hospital. On Saturday (September 7) when his physical condition worsened, he was taken on life support.
Mustafa Monwar is a talented painter of Bangladesh. The revolution of the puppet industry in this country took place with his hands. That is why he is called as ‘Puppetman’. September 1 was his 89th birthday.
