The former minister of the Ministry of Culture, Asaduzzaman Noor, has been taken into custody. He is recognized as the defendant in the case that was submitted to the Mirpur police station.

He was taken into custody by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Detective Department (DB) on Sunday night at approximately 11 p.m. from Bailey Road in the capital.
