Bangladesh Army Urges Compliance with Indefinite Curfew
Bangladesh Army Monday urged the people to abide by the curfew which was imposed for an indefinite period from today as the country’s overall law and order situation deteriorated again.
The Bangladesh Army on August 4 issued a stern appeal to the public to strictly adhere to the indefinite curfew imposed across the country. The decision to extend the curfew came in response to a recent deterioration in law and order.
An Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement emphasized the army’s commitment to upholding constitutional duties and ensuring public safety. The statement urged citizens to cooperate fully with authorities to maintain peace and protect critical infrastructure.
The government implemented the curfew to address escalating tensions and violence that had claimed numerous lives in recent weeks.
