Bangladesh has Received Financial and Institutional, Human Rights and Climate Change Aid Assurances from the US

A high-level team from the United States paid Bangladesh a visit and pledged to support it in promoting economic opportunities, strengthening institutional capacity, and protecting human rights.

“We are committed to supporting our partner Bangladesh in expanding economic opportunities, building institutional capacity, upholding human rights and mitigating climate risks,” the Embassy of Bangladesh stated.

Assistant Secretary Donald Lu of the US State Department’s Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs and Assistant Secretary Brent Neiman of the US Treasury Department headed the US delegation.

A representative for the US State Department had earlier stated that the agenda item for discussion will be how the US can support Bangladesh’s development, financial stability, and economic growth.
