Bangladesh High Commissioner Announces Launch of Direct Flights with Pakistan

The Bangladesh High Commissioner to Pakistan, Mohammad Iqbal Hossain, has officially announced plans to launch direct flight services between the two countries. This move is aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and fostering greater cooperation in various sectors.
In a statement made on Sunday, January 26, Hossain emphasized that introducing direct flights would significantly enhance connectivity between Bangladesh and Pakistan, particularly benefiting tourism, education, and trade.

He expressed confidence that this initiative would open up new avenues for collaboration and create opportunities for both nations.

The High Commissioner also highlighted the growing commercial and diplomatic relations between Bangladesh and Pakistan, noting that the establishment of direct air services would further deepen these ties, paving the way for future cooperation in multiple areas.
