Bangladesh Metrorail is Not Running from Agargaon to Motijheel

Motijheel-bound metro rail from Uttara in the capital is stuck at Agargaon station. Metrorail staff were seen miking the issue as a mechanical fault. He boarded the metro rail from Sheorapara station at 9:40 am. The train stopped at Agargaon station. Workers can later be heard miking.

The announcement over the microphone stated that the metro train will only go as far as Agargaon station and not as far as Motijheel because of mechanical issues.

Many people disembarked off the train in the interim. Some went to their destination on foot, while others drove different cars.

According to the workers, the metro rail from Agargaon to Uttara North station is still operating, while the train from Agargaon to Motijheel station has been suspended.

Regarding the mechanical issue, there is currently no remark available from Metrorail’s higher authorities.
