Books Worth Tk 119 Crores Destroyed by Floods in United States Library

Many districts of Bangladesh are still under water due to floods. The loss of life is also extensive. Similarly, the state of New York, which has been affected by floods in recent times, is also in the United States.

 In the footage, a large amount of water suddenly burst through the walls of the library. Water seeps into the lower level of the library like a bathtub.

Library officials say the incident caused about $10 million in damage, including priceless historical documents. Which is more than 119 crores in Bangladeshi taka.

These floods are caused by storms with heavy rainfall. Eyewitnesses said that wherever the water entered the city, it swallowed everything.
