Chance of Moderate Rain, Thundershowers in Bangladesh
Beginning at 9:00 a.m. today, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has expected mild to moderate rain throughout the nation for the next 24 hours. Additionally, Dhaka will see south or southeasterly winds with a speed of 10 to 15 km/h.
Over the course of the previous 24 hours, Mongla recorded the highest temperature in the nation, 36.3 degrees Celsius.
“Most locations over the divisions of Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong, and Sylhet are likely to have light to moderate rain or thunder showers with brief gusts of wind, and many locations over the divisions of Rangpur, Rajshahi, and Mymensingh are likely to see moderately heavy to very heavy falls.
In the meantime, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla, and Payra maritime ports were advised by BMD to raise local cautious signal-3 today. Additionally, until further notice, all trawlers and fishing boats operating in North Bay have been warned to approach the coast cautiously.
