Chhatra League former general secretary: Dead body of Ishaq Ali Khan Panna in Meghalaya
The body of former general secretary of the Chhatra League Ishaq Ali Khan Panna was recovered by the Indian police in the Jaintia district of the bordering Meghalaya state.
On Wednesday, the Indian news agency PTI reported the information and this report also said that on August 26, the Ishaq Ali Khan emerald was found in Indian territory, one and a half kilometers further from the Bangladesh-India border area.
It is known that when Sheikh Hasina’s government collapsed on August 5, Awami League leader Ishaq Ali Khan Panna, the former general secretary of the Chhatra League, went into hiding.
The body has been kept at a local hospital and Superintendent of Police Giri Prasad told the news agency that his identity was known from the passport taken with him.
