DCCI Secretary General Afsarul Arifeen Passes Away at 56

Dhaka, December 7, 2024: The Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) mourns the sudden demise of its Secretary General, Mr. Afsarul Arifeen, who passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the age of 56. He suffered a heart attack and breathed his last at Islami Bank Hospital in Kakrail, Dhaka, at 8:30 PM.

Mr. Arifeen was a distinguished leader and a respected figure in the business community. His untimely passing is a profound loss to the organization and the sector he served with dedication.

The funeral prayer (Janaza) for Mr. Arifeen will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 10:30 AM at the Mohammedan Sporting Club premises, located behind the DCCI office in Motijheel.

DCCI urges everyone to join in prayer for the forgiveness of his soul and for his eternal peace in Jannah. His contributions and legacy will be remembered with great respect and gratitude.
