Eid ul Adha Celebration Prep going on UK
Eid al-Adha is celebrated on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah in the Islamic calendar. Eid al-Adha will celebrate in UK on June 16, 2024. All the UK muslim community is taking preparation for Eid ul Adha 2024.
Eid al-Adha, also known as Eid ul Adha or the “Festival of the Sacrifice,” is a major holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide. It commemorates the Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son Ishmael (as per Islamic tradition) as an act of obedience to Allah.
Eid al-Adha is a joyous occasion marked by special prayers, family gatherings, exchanging gifts, and sharing meals.
A key part of the celebration involves sacrificing an animal, typically a sheep, goat, cow, or camel. The meat is then divided into three parts: one for the family, one for friends and relatives, and one for the poor and needy.
