Elon Musk has reinstated Donald Trump’s Twitter account following a poll.
Elon Musk has reactivated the former US President Donald Trump’s Twitter account following a narrow majority of people voting to lift the ban. Following the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, his account was suspended for breaking Twitter policies and for raising the possibility of further inciting violence.
On Sunday, the account looked to be active, but it hadn’t posted anything to the 80 million+ people who follow him. On January 8, he tweeted that he will not be present at Joe Biden’s inauguration as the 46th President of the United States. That was his last tweet.
Trump didn’t seem eager to get back on Twitter as they were talking about the matter. He stated he did not see any justification for it when questioned by a panel during the annual leadership meeting of the Republican Jewish Coalition.
