Energy and Power Advisor Muhammad Fauzul Kabir Khan said that as soon as the water recedes, the power line will be started at a fast pace.   A damage inventory has already been prepared and power lines have been shut down to avoid accidents in flood-hit areas.

The Energy Advisor confirmed that repair teams have been working around the clock to assess and fix the damaged infrastructure. With the water levels dropping, crews are now able to safely access and repair critical power lines.
