Gaza Peace Deal Signed in Presence of World Leaders; Trump Says: “A New History Has Been Made”
After prolonged negotiations, a peace agreement aimed at ending the Gaza war has finally been signed between Hamas and Israel — marking a major milestone in global diplomacy.
On Monday (October 13), U.S. President Donald Trump signed the agreement during an international peace summit held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. Alongside him, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, along with other world leaders, also signed the deal.

According to a live update from Qatar-based news outlet Al Jazeera, the summit was attended by heads of state and representatives from around 35 countries.
Following the signing, President Trump stated, “Today, we did not just end a war — we have written a new chapter in the history of the Middle East. This is the most significant peace agreement yet, ushering in a new dawn.”
In response to questions from journalists about the longevity of the deal, Trump confidently said, “It will last.”
