Inter Miami Defeat New England with Messi’s Brace

Lionel Messi is in phenomenal form in Major League Soccer (MLS). The Argentine superstar scored twice today against New England Revolution, leading Inter Miami to a 2-1 victory. With this performance, Messi made history by becoming the first player in MLS history to score multiple goals in four consecutive matches.

His goal-scoring streak began in May against CF Montréal. He followed it up with braces against Columbus Crew, Montréal once again, and now New England. Thanks to Messi’s brilliance, Inter Miami are unbeaten in their last five league matches, winning four and drawing one.

Impressed by Messi’s incredible run, former Argentina teammate Javier Mascherano said, “He is the greatest footballer in history.”
