Israel Paralyzed by Continuous Iranian Attacks, 35 Still Missing Under Rubble
Israel has been left reeling under a barrage of missile and drone attacks launched by Iran. The assault, which began on Friday night (June 14) and continued into Saturday morning, has so far claimed 12 lives and left over 200 people injured. At least 35 individuals remain missing.
The most devastating strike occurred in the Bat Yam area of Haifa city, where an Iranian missile directly hit a residential building, causing it to completely collapse. Many residents were trapped under the rubble. So far, five bodies have been recovered as emergency services and rescue teams continue their search operations.
Meanwhile, another attack took place in Tel Aviv, where one Israeli citizen was killed. Many of the injured are in critical condition, raising concerns that the death toll may rise further.
Israel claims the Iranian offensive is in retaliation to its recent military operation dubbed “Operation Rising Lion.” Over the past two days, Iran has reportedly launched a wave of drone and missile attacks targeting both military and civilian infrastructures across Israel. Although Israel’s defense forces state that they intercepted many of the projectiles, some managed to strike their targets, causing significant damage and casualties.
The escalating conflict has pushed tensions across the Middle East to a critical level. Both countries are reportedly on high alert and preparing for potential full-scale warfare. In the meantime, the international community has called for an immediate cessation of hostilities and urged both sides to seek a peaceful resolution.
