Job Aspirant’s Agitation: PSC has Called a Special Meeting Today in Bangladesh
Prospective employees demonstrated in front of the Public Works Commission (PSC) to alter the hiring process for non-cadets of the 41st and 43rd BCS. On Tuesday, they essentially declared a hunger strike. Subsequently, the PSC said that they are deceased as of this Wednesday. The Ministry of Public Promotion will get the agitators’ message.
A PSC senior officer said that, “The agitators have made a number of demands.” The Ministry of Public Administration will be notified. As a result, the PSC scheduled a special meeting earlier today.
A candidate for a position said that under the prior regulations, non-cadre hiring was not problematic. Many were hired by non-cadre employees. The policies that PSC has adhered to for non-cadre hiring in the past have made the organization known for being supportive of joblessness. However, this job applicant claimed that PSC was contributing to young unemployment by disregarding that guideline. To do this, they want to maintain the non-cadre recruiting method from the prior regulations through the 44th BCS. The revised BCS announcement will now include the number of cadre and non-cadre appointments in accordance with the new decision. The protesters wish to abolish this system.
