Justice Manik was Detained While Fleeing to India Through the Sylhet Border

Retired Supreme Court Justice AHM Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik, who was detained by Border Guard Bangladesh BGB while fleeing to India through the Sylhet border, has been sent to court through the court.

Justice Manik was sent to the Kanaighat Thana police this morning after he was detained at the border of Kanaighat upazila of Sylhet on Friday night.

When he was brought down from the police van. The general public threw shoes and eggs at him at this time.  At this time, an attempt was made to beat him.  When the police car entered the Sylhet court premises with Manik on trial around 4 pm, the excited crowd surrounded the car.

There are several discussions against the accused including questions against Lalbagh, Badda and Adabar. A message has been sent to all police stations from Sylhet. The concerned police station will arrest him in those cases.
