Oli Ahmed says, It’s a vote robbery in the name of election

Moghbazar, Dhaka, Bangladesh ( January 8, 2024) – The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party Oli Ahmed on Monday said that the genuine citizen turnout in Sunday’s overall political race in Bangladesh was not more than 7 to 10 percent as individuals boycotted the uneven surveys.

Talking at a public interview at his party’s Moghbazar office, he called upon the prime minister to participate in converses with BNP to stop power securely as the nation’s kin didn’t give her an order to run the country.

We reject this election and the results. It’s a vote robbery in the name of election,’ Oli Ahmed said. According to the information they received from various sources, he said that they were sure that the vote cast was not more than 7 to 10 per cent. ‘More than 40 per cent voter turnout was announced (by the Election Commission) to fool the foreigners,’ he said.

Oli encouraged prime minister Sheik Hasina not to get excessively energized and became blissful over the consequences of the fake polls as she probably was aware very well that the normal vote cast was not more than 5 to 10 percent.
