Palestinian Red Crescent Society, around 60 Civilians were murdered in Israeli strikes on Rafah.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society reported early on Monday that more than 60 people have died as a result of Israeli airstrikes on the city of Rafah in southern Gaza. The city where over half of Gaza’s population is seeking safety saw intense targeting by jets and airstrikes.
PRCS, machine guns were also fired by helicopters in its border territories. Rafah is located close to Gaza’s Egyptian border.
In a statement released on Monday, the Israel Defense Forces announced that they had carried out a series of strikes on targets in the Shaboura neighborhood of Rafah. They also stated that, meth strikes have concluded.
The Rafah municipality claims that one of the Israeli strikes’ targets was a mosque located in Shaboura. Two mosques and fourteen residences in different parts of Rafah were reportedly targeted on Monday, according to the Hamas-run television network Al-Aqsa.
Abu Yousef Al-Najjar Hospital’s director stated that Rafah’s medical facilities cannot handle the large number of injuries due to the Israeli occupation’s bombardment.
The PRCS reports that there are individuals under the rubble and that there are still a lot of jets over Rafah.
