Protests of students, lawyers surrounded the High Court demanding the resignation of ‘factional’ judges

Anti-discrimination student movement students of private universities surrounded the High Court demanding the resignation of Awami League’s ‘factional’ judges. At the same time, a group of lawyers under the banner of ‘Anti-Discrimination and Genocide Lawyers’ has taken a position in the High Court demanding the resignation of the judges.

Today, Wednesday (October 16) around 11:30 am, a protest procession headed by Hasnat Abdullah and Sarjis Alam, one of the organizers of the organization, left for the High Court from Raju Bhaskarya. The procession reached the High Court after circling the campus of Dhaka University. The students sat in front of the main building of the High Court.Earlier, Hasnat Abdullah and Sarjis Alam announced this program in a post on social media Facebook on Tuesday night. The two coordinators wrote, High Court siege program at 11 o’clock on Wednesday to demand the resignation of Awami League’s fascist judges. Once again, the streets will shake to overthrow the black vultures. The country cannot and will not move forward until they are overthrown.

The coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement have been demanding the resignation of the ‘factional’ judges appointed during the Awami League period in the High Court Division of the Supreme Court. Besides, common lawyers have also been demanding the resignation of partisan judges.
