Pumpkin Giant: Incredible Vegetable Weighs as Much as an Ox

The weight of the pumpkin is the same as a bull! Russia witnessed such a strange event. A pumpkin weighing 817 kg was found in the garden of Alexander Chusov, a farmer in a village in Moscow.

A competition was held at the country’s oldest botanical garden on Saturday (September 14). The pumpkin was taken there. Entrepreneurs said that the vegetable has broken all records of giant pumpkins. The previous record was 771 kg.

Alexander said that the pumpkins in his garden grew by an average of 20 kg per day. Tsar Peter the Great introduced the competition as part of the Autumn Festival. It was organized mainly to encourage farming.
