Russia restricts access to Voice of America and the BBC websites.

Russia blocked access to the websites of a number of international news agencies, including Deutsche Welle and the BBC, for allegedly disseminating inaccurate information on its campaign in Ukraine.

Russia has long claimed that Western media outlets present a biased, sometimes anti-Russian, picture of the world while avoiding holding their own leaders accountable for corrupt practices and disastrous foreign conflicts like Iraq.
