Saudi Arabia has reportedly announced the lifting of a three-year ban on foreign workers with visas who fail to return before the expiry date. The country has implemented this decision to withdraw the ban on exiting or re-entering visa-holding foreign workers from last Tuesday.
The Passport Directorate of Saudi Arabia has informed the nation’s airlines, transit terminals, entry points, and security agencies to permit the admission of these foreign workers now that the prohibition has been removed.
The entrance prohibition on foreign workers who entered the nation with leave and re-entry visas but did not return before the three-year period ended has reportedly been abolished. Foreign employees whose visas have expired will thus be permitted to return to Saudi Arabia.
However, Saudi Arabia has declared that it would no longer charge for the employment of domestic workers from Bangladesh and other nations in other parts of the world. The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development of this nation in the Middle East issued this declaration.

The set fees have been modified by the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. The cost of employing domestic workers from Bangladesh has been set at 11,500 to 13,000 Saudi Riyals per the new decision. This falls between 3 lakh 36 thousand 467 and 3 lakh 80 thousand 467 taka for Bangladeshis.
