Siddhant Chaturvedi begins shoot for Shakun Batra’s film

On Tuesday, actor Siddhant Chaturvedi started filming the next film directed by Shakun Batra.

Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday will co-star with Chaturvedi in the movie, which is marketed as a romantic drama.

The 27-year-old actor shared a boomerang photo of a staff member wearing a PPE kit on his Instagram Story, giving fans a peek at what goes on behind the scenes.

The actor’s intimate source stated that the Goa production is now in progress.

The untitled movie, which Dharma Productions had revealed last year, is scheduled to begin production in early 2020 and hit theaters on February 12, 2021.

However, the shoot seemed to have been impacted, like other projects, by the nationwide lockdown brought on by the coronavirus.

Prior to the shutdown, Chaturvedi was filming Bunty Aur Babli 2, and he had just finished the Yash Raj Films production. The movie, which is a follow-up to the same-titled 2005 film, also stars Sharvari, Saif Ali Khan, and Rani Mukerji.

Additionally, Chaturvedi will feature in Excel Entertainment’s Phone Bhoot.
