The Government has Reduced the Entrance Fee of the Botanical Garden by 70 Percent
The National Botanical Garden’s admission price has been updated by the government at Mirpur, Dhaka.
The Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change said in a news release today that the entrance charge for those above 12 has been lowered from Tk 100 to Tk 30 per person.
Up to 100 students from educational institutions will pay a group cost of 1,000 taka, while students in groups of 101–200 would pay a group price of 1,500 taka.
Aside from this, each individual under the age of twelve had to pay Tk 50 for admission. For children aged 6 to 12, the cost has been lowered to Rs 15, and for those under five, it is free.
For international visitors, the entrance price is set at 500 taka or the equivalent per person.
For a morning park trip, each participant must pay an annual access card price of Rs 500. Cardholders are entitled to a morning visit to the Botanical Gardens from November to March, from 6:30 am to 9:30 am, and from April to October, from 6 am to 9 am. A replacement card must be obtained for a price of 200 Taka in the event that the card is lost or renewed.
