The price of gold once again recorded high price: 1 lakh 12 thousand 441 taka per (11.664 grams)
The price of gold in the country’s market has increased again. The new price of best quality or 22 carat gold (11.664 grams) has been increased by Tk 1,400. According to the new price, the buyer will have to pay 1 lakh 12 thousand 441 taka to buy a good quality gold. But the price will be higher with VAT and wages. The price of gold in the country’s market has never increased so much before.
On Wednesday (January 17), Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) announced the increase in gold prices in a press release. It is said that the price of pure gold has increased in the local market. That’s why Bajus decided to adjust the price of gold.
According to the new price, the price of a 21 carat gold bar has been increased to Tk 1 lakh seven thousand 309. Apart from this, the price of one 18 carat gold bar has been fixed at Tk 92 thousand 29. And the price of traditional gold is 76 thousand 632 taka.
