The United States’ Commitment to Upholding Human Rights
The United States is committed to expanding economic activities and upholding human rights with Bangladesh. Besides, the country will help to increase institutional capacity and deal with the risks of climate change.
On Sunday (September 15), Foreign Affairs Adviser. The country said this in a post on the Facebook page of the US Embassy in Dhaka after the meeting with Touhid Hossain.
It said it was a pleasure to meet the Foreign Affairs Adviser at the Rashtriya Guest House Padma. Our partner is committed to expanding economic activity, building institutional capacity, upholding human rights and helping to address climate change risks with Bangladesh.
The US delegation at the meeting was led by Brent Neiman, assistant undersecretary of the country’s finance department, and Donald Lu, assistant secretary for South and Central Asia at the State Department. Besides, there are four other members in the delegation.
