UAE President Congratulates Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus

The President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan has congratulated Principal Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on taking over the leadership of the Interim Government of Bangladesh.

Professor Yunus thanked the UAE President for his congratulations. The Chief Adviser praised his visionary leadership for making the Gulf nation one of the most prosperous countries in the world.

In a phone call today, Sheikh Mohammed, according to the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing, expressed the hope that Bangladesh will experience prosperity under the leadership of Professor Yunus, the Chief Adviser, and the interim administration.

Professor Yunus stated that millions of Bangladeshis are employed in the Gulf nation and called the UAE a wonderful friend for supporting Bangladesh through several natural calamities. Bangladesh receives a significant amount of its remittances from this nation.

The two leaders also discussed matters of mutual concern, such as trade, investment growth, and employment of labor.
