UK General Election Results 2024
The EU today praised Keir Starmer on Labour’s election win in England, with European Board President Charles Michel referring to it as “memorable’.
The United Kingdom’s election has resulted in a great victory for Keir Starmer’s Labour Party, which has won 412 seats of a total of 650 seats (65 percent) in the House of Commons.
The European Parliament’s president, Roberta Metsola, also sent congratulations to Starmer for winning the election.

- Conservative Party: 24 percent vote share, 121 seats
- Liberal Democrats: 12 percent vote share, 71 seats

- Scottish National Party (SNP): 2 percent vote share, 9 seats
- Sinn Fein: 0.7 percent vote share, 7 seats
- Plaid Cymru: 0.7 percent vote share, 4 seats
