Various Signs Including Burnt Bones of People in Gazi Tyre Factory Destroyed by Fire in Bangladesh

Various indications, including charred bones, livers, and skulls of individuals, are discovered from the remains of the Gazi Tyres plant owned by Golam Dastagir Gazi, a former member of parliament and former minister of the Narayanganj-1 Constituency. These indicators were found during a thorough search by the missing person’s relatives eight days after the tragedy. Afterwards, the police sent it to the relevant location for forensic analysis.

The investigation committee said 129 people were listed as missing. Last August 25, Gazi Tyres factory suffered a lot of damage due to the fire. After 32 hours of fire there was nothing left but some engines and dangerous structures.  Structures charred by fire are likely to collapse at any time.  Hence the rescue operation has been stopped since August 30.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the remains could be linked to the individuals reported missing since the fire broke out. The list of missing persons has now reached a distressing number, with families and loved ones anxiously awaiting news. Local authorities have established a helpline and are coordinating with emergency services to provide updates and support to the affected families.

The Gazi Tyre Factory, which was reportedly in compliance with safety regulations, is now at the center of an extensive investigation.
