Dr. Muhammad Yunus Receives Red Carpet Welcome in Hainan, China

Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Advisor of Bangladesh’s Interim Government, was honored with a grand red carpet reception upon his arrival in Hainan Province, China, on Wednesday, March 26. The gesture highlighted the significance of his visit and the strong diplomatic ties between Bangladesh and China.

Dr. Yunus’s aircraft landed at Qionghai Boao Airport at 4:15 PM Bangladesh time. A red carpet was laid out from the airplane stairs to the waiting vehicle, symbolizing the distinguished status of the Chief Advisor. He was warmly welcomed by Wang Junshou, Vice Governor of Hainan Province, and Nazmul Islam, Bangladesh’s Ambassador to China.

This exceptional reception underscores the importance of Dr. Yunus’s visit, which aims to strengthen bilateral relations and explore avenues for cooperation between the two nations.
