Bangladeshi Passenger Died in Flight During Journey to Hong Kong
A 47-year-old citizen of Bangladesh was discovered unconscious while traveling to Hong Kong. After arriving at the airport in Hong Kong, medical professionals later declared him deceased.
The event happened on a Cathay Pacific Airways airplane that was leaving Dhaka. This information was published by the South China Morning Post on Wednesday. The report did not identify the deceased passenger.
On aircraft CX662, which went from Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, to Hong Kong, a passenger passed out. Within the aircraft, doctors pronounced the individual deceased. According to authorities, an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
According to the airport administration, the flight left Dhaka on Tuesday at 2:00 PM and arrived in Hong Kong on Wednesday at 7:49 PM.
The airline reported that when the passenger was discovered unresponsive, an ambulance was dispatched. Medical staff came at the airport as soon as the jet touched down.
Regretfully, the passenger has sadly died away. “We are deeply saddened by this tragic incident and offer our deepest condolences to the families of the deceased passengers,” stated Cathay Pacific.
