Committed to Implementing Important Reform Programs in Every Field in Bangladesh: Dr. Yunus
Erna van Duren, Ambassador of the Netherlands appointed to Bangladesh paid a courtesy call to the Interim Government Md. Yunus.
On behalf of his nation, the Dutch ambassador stated that the Netherlands is eager to deepen its ties with Bangladesh in a number of areas, such as agriculture, labor, the environment, youth, knowledge-based economies, maritime resources, industry, agriculture, and flood control. He also expressed full support to the interim government of Bangladesh.

He asked the Dutch government for help in carrying out the comprehensive reform program of the interim administration.
According to Dr. Yunus, Sheikh Hasina’s autocratic rule devastated every institution in the nation.
According to him, the present administration is dedicated to putting significant reforms into place in the areas of business environment, civil administration, electoral commission, labor sector, education, and the judiciary. During the conference, the Rohingya problem was also discussed. In order to ensure a bright future for the Rohingya youngsters living in the Cox’s Bazar shelter camps, the Chief Adviser stated that education and training should be provided.
