Former Minister Golam Dastagir Gazi Ordered to Be Sent to Jail
The court has ordered former textile and jute minister Golam Dastagir Gazi to be sent to jail after a six-day remand. The court passed this order on Friday (August 30) afternoon.
On August 25, the court granted his six-day remand in the Rupganj school student Roman murder case. After the remand, he was taken to court today. Earlier, he was arrested from his residence in Shantinagar of the capital on the night of August 24.
After the resignation of Sheikh Hasina on August 5, Roman Mia is a school student he was shot dead while attending a procession in Rupganj. In this incident, the victim’s aunt Rina filed a case on August 21, accusing Sheikh Hasina, Obaidul Quader, Golam Dastagir Gazi and his son as the plaintiff. In that case, 45 named and 60 anonymous eople were accused.
